Well it finally arrived! We had our first major snow storm of the Season today and it is still ongoing. We have had almost 9″ of heavy wet snow as of 11 PM this Tuesday the 15th of December. I expect by the time it is through we will have had about a foot.
With my recent shoulder surgery plowing has proved to be a challenge, and Denise has been tremendous at shoveling and working the walk behind. I actually had the 3-pt blower out today to clean up around the shop — pretty early.
The snow contiues to slide off the roof. And, of course, the cars continue to slide off the hiways, so schools in Garden Valley are closed tomorrow.
I am hoping to make into Boise for my Physical therapy — but will probably miss it again!
Here’s to snowshoeing!
