Beautiful Garden Valley, Idaho
Garden Valley dates back to the hustle and bustle of the Gold Mining Days in Idaho where it was a garden oasis for providing food for the miners. Today Garden Valley has become the gateway to the Central Idaho Mountains.
Garden Valley is surrounded in all directions by mountain peaks up to 8,000 feet high. Prominent peaks include Charters Mountain, Garden Mountain, and Scott Mountain. But, Garden Valley is not just a mountain paradise, but a river runner’s and fishing paradise as well being bisected by both the South Fork of the Payette River and the Middle Fork of the Payette River.
Garden Valley is situated around the City of Crouch, which is named after Billy Crouch. Crouch was established in 1934 as a Post Office for the area. Today Crouch offers numerous shopping and dining opportunities for locals and visitors alike.
