For Memorial Day weekend 2012 Denise and I went up to the Banner Ridge Yurt for a couple of nights. To get some rest and relaxation, get some trail runs in (we each logged over 20 miles!) and to see the awesome women of the Exergy Challenge summit at nearby Beaver Creek Summit.
While we had cold weather and even a few inches of snow, the conditions for the race were decent but chilly.

We went to get some rest and relaxation, get some trail runs in (we each logged over 20 miles) and to see the awesome women of the Exergy Challenge summit at nearby Beaver Creek Summit.
And while we had cold weather in the 30s and low 40s as well as a few inches of snow, the conditions for the race were decent but chilly.
