A Kauai Christmas

What a Christmas! Denise, Tonya and I just returned from eight great nights at the Point at Poipu on Kauai.

Kauai is a beautiful lush green island with everything from Hawaii’s best beaches to the Waimea Canyon which is often compared to the Grand Canyon. Kauai is also home to the remote, rugged Napali coast.

In our time on Kauai we did it all, including:

  • Ziplining over the rain forest where Avatar was filmed
  • Seeing many dolphins performing twists, flips and jumps
  • Seeing whales breaching
  • Landing a helicopter at the base of the Waterfall from Jurassic park.
  • Seeing the Napali coast from the air, boat and by hiking
  • Seeing the Kileaua Lighthouse at Kauai’s northern-most point
  • Seeing the georgeous north coast and Peinceville
  • And, of course seeing the many, many, “Stoopid Chickens” as well as wild pigs and goats

Some photos from our trip are below:

See ‘ya after our next trip!
