Mazatlan has the World’s 3rd largest Carnaval celebration after Rio and New Orleans. As I am getting around better this year, we got to see some of the pageantry and events.
Plazuela Machado is a very popular hangout for folks and is beautiful during Carnaval. It has one of the sixteen Monigotes and a small flowered stage – which Denise is showing off below.
